So, Let’s Answer the Question: What is SKINPROJECT?

Introducing The New Wave of Chemical Peels, SKINPROJECT is a range of seven products with three different nanopeels that are suitable for all ages and skin types. Just like chemical peels, but with deeper penetration so active ingredients reach the skin dermis, SKINPROJECT purifies, revives and brightens the skin.

What Products Are in the Range?

It’s as easy as: 1, 2, 3, 4. There’s four steps to the SKINPROJECT treatment and here’s exactly what you can expect from each one…

Of course, first of all you will have a skin consultation with your aesthetics practitioner and decide which chemical peel is right for you and your specific skincare goals.

Step 1: Prep

It’s time to quite literally ‘prep’ the skin before the nanopeel is applied to the skin! SKINPROJECT Nanopeel Prep feeds the skin before the chemical peel treatment and this is the first step when you are having SKINPROJECT.

Step 2: The NANOPEELS

There’s a choice of three peels in the range; depending on your desired outcome, you can have SRT, Jessner or Eye to give you the results you want. Let’s see what is different about each one and what might be right for you…

  • SRT: Consisting of salicylic acid alongside other skin enriching ingredients, SKINPROJECT Nanopeel SRT helps to reduce scars, enlarged pores, folliculitis, hyperpigmentation, light ageing and stretch marks.
  • Jessner: Packed with ingredients that rejuvenate the skin, with actives such as salicylic acid and lactic acid, SKINPROJECT Nanopeel Jessner works to rejuvenate the skin and improves skin texture alongside certain skin concerns such as hyperpigmentation, keratosis, and melasma.
  • Eye: Both Glycolic and lactic acids are a skincare favourite for brightening and smoothing the skin; they’re just a couple of SKINPROJECT Nanopeel Eye ingredients. This nanopeel can be applied topically to the eye area to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars, sun damage and age spots.

Step 3: Remove

Once the peels have been applied, they will stay on the skin for certain amount of time that is specific to your individual skin type. The practitioner will use SKINPROJECT Nanopeel Remover if you’ve had SRT and Jessner treatments, or if you’ve used SKINPROJECT Nanopeel Eye, the neutraliser will be used  to remove the product from your skin.

Step 4: Nourish

The final step is a post-treatment cream. SKINPROJECT Nourish is explanatory: it nourishes the skin to moisturise and hydrate the skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth.

How is SKINPROJECT Different to Other Peels?

The SKINPROJECT range uses nanotechnology, featuring unique material properties which boost results from reaching deeper layers of skin, so they can target certain skin concerns that normal peels can’t. Whilst there are similar properties which stay the same, such as creating a glowy and refreshed complexion, nanopeels have a greater precision of depth that is able to intensely renew the skin.

As with other peels, after the treatment, you need to give your skin the chance to recover and repair. This is no different with SKINPROJECT; after you have had the treatment, make sure that you take care of your skin as you begin the peeling process. It’s all worth it for the final results of rejuvenated skin that you’ve been waiting for!

Here is some aftercare advice for SKINPROJECT:

  • Use moisturiser and SPF for the period following the treatment.
  • Don’t pick at your skin during the peeling process, leave it to heal.
  • Don’t use any acids or harsh products on your skin.

How Does SKINPROJECT Fit in with Other Treatments?

SKINPROJECT is a topical treatment but doesn’t replace the injectables that you might be getting already from your Aesthetics Practitioner. Whilst building the skin barrier for a healthy skin glow, SKINPROJECT targets the skin concerns that are specific to you. Skin boosters such as Seventy Hyal 2000, or dermal fillers like REVOLAX, can be used perfectly alongside the range! Are you ready to break barriers and restore radiance in your skincare routine?

Round-Up: What is SKINPROJECT and How Do I Book?

To recap, SKINPROJECT is an alternative treatment to your usual injectables; it’s a range of nanopeel products to help revive the skin and target skin concerns topically. The peels use nanotechnology to reach the dermis layer where the active ingredients give better results In comparison to other peels.

So, there’s still room for all of your other tweakments alongside a SKINPROJECT treatment! Speak to your local aesthetics practitioner about SKINPROJECT and book in for a consultation with your aesthetics clinic.
